Cara Install Proxmox VE di VMware

Persiapan

Sebelum mulai, siapkan:

• ISO Proxmox VE Download Disini

• Aplikasi Virtual Machine:

  • VMware Download Disini

• RAM minimal 4GB (disarankan 8GB)

• Storage minimal 32GB

• CPU minimal 2 core

1. Membuat Virtual Machine

Setting di VirtualBox / VMware:

• Name: Proxmox VE
• Type: Linux
• Version: Debian (64-bit)
• RAM: 6096 MB (minimal)
• CPU: 4 core
• Harddisk: 60GB (VDI / VMDK)

2. Setting Network (Penting)

Gunakan:

• Bridged Adapter ✅

📌 Tujuan: Agar Proxmox mendapatkan IP satu jaringan dan bisa diakses dari browser

3. Masukkan File ISO

• Masuk ke Settings → Storage
• Attach file ISO Proxmox

4. Jalankan VM & Mulai Instalasi

• Klik Start
• Pilih:

Install Proxmox VE

5. Accept License

• Klik I Agree

6. Pilih Disk

• Pilih storage yang sudah dibuat
• Klik Next

7. Setting Lokasi

• Country: Indonesia
• Timezone: Asia/Jakarta
• Keyboard: English

8. Set Password & Email

Isi:

• Password root
• Email

📌 Gunakan password kuat

9. Konfigurasi Network

Isi dengan benar:

Contoh:

IP Address: 192.168.x.4
Gateway   : 192.168.x.1
DNS       : 8.8.8.8

📌 Jangan pakai DHCP, gunakan IP static

10. Proses Instalasi

• Tunggu sampai selesai
• Klik Reboot

11. Akses Proxmox dari Browser

Setelah selesai, buka browser:

https://192.168.x.4:8006

Login:

• Username: root
• Password: sesuai yang dibuat
• Realm: Linux PAM

12. Fix No Subscription (Opsional)

Edit repo:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list

Comment:

# deb https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/pve bookworm pve-enterprise

Tambah repo:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Isi:

deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve bookworm pve-no-subscription

Update:

apt update && apt upgrade -y
